1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Tarboush Tring (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles your personal data. The data controller is Tarboush Tring Ltd (registered in England & Wales, company no. 16023733; registered office: Unit 17, Orbital 25 Business Park, Dwight Road, Watford, WD18 9DA), trading as Tarboush Tring, 50 High St, Tring, Hertfordshire HP23 5AG. You can contact us at info@tarboushtring.co.uk or 01442 976900. We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
2. What we collect
This website is primarily informational. We may process:
- Enquiries — if you email or call us, the contact details and information you provide.
- Reservations — table bookings are handled by our booking provider, ResDiary, on our booking page. The information you enter there is processed by ResDiary and shared with us to manage your booking.
- Technical/cookie data — see our Cookie Policy. We do not run our own analytics or advertising trackers.
3. How we use it & lawful bases
- To respond to enquiries and manage reservations — performance of a contract / legitimate interests.
- To operate and secure the website — legitimate interests.
- To load optional third-party content — your consent (which you can withdraw at any time).
4. Third parties
We use trusted providers who may process limited data on our behalf or as their own controllers: ResDiary (online table reservations) and Google Maps (embedded map). These load only with your consent and have their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Retention
We keep enquiry and booking information only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected and to meet legal or accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise it.
6. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, rectify or erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability, as well as to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, contact info@tarboushtring.co.uk.
7. Complaints
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113, though we’d appreciate the chance to help first.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above shows the latest version.
