Wines

We have worked with some experts on wine to put together an amazing wine list for you to enjoy. As well as some favourites from around the world we have a selection of fantastic wines from Lebanon.

Lebanon has been producing wines for thousands of years and in the Bekaa Valley there is even an intact second century temple to Bacchus the Roman God of wine. The countries dry, sunny climate is ideal for grape growing.

Lebanese wine is very much influanced by the French wineries where many people serve their apprenticeship before returning to Lebanon. Although French grape varieties are popular there are some indiginous grape varieties like obebaideh and Merwah. Indeed it is believed that the Semillon grape variety is descended from Merwah.

These varieties are only grown in Lebanon and we are fortunate to be able to showcase wines unique to this region.

Although we have an amazing selection of everyday wines we also host some exceptional wines in our Reserve Cellar. If you love wine and are looking for something extra special we are sure we have the perfect wine for you. (Please note for reserve wines a 20 minute decant time is required before serving).
